Our Trip to Mexico

Victor and I left on the 22nd early in the morning headed for San Diego where we were picked up at the airport and driven to Mexico.
We had a great time seeing gramma and papa, riding on the beach and I just relaxed. Here are some pics.

More Video of the Christmas Program

Here is Victor yet again doing Once Their Was a Snowman. Doesn't he look cute in his sweater?

And here is the entire La Petite Acadamy singing Jingle Bells. It was short and cute. Victor has no problem singing in front of people and I hope that doesn't change.

Thanks everyone for checking him out! We are off to Mexico on Saturday morning so I hope to have a ton of photos when we get back after Christmas. Have a Merry Christmas!

School Program

Here Victor is in the back on the left. He is wearing the white sweater with the red stripe.

2007 Almost over

We had such a great Thanksgiving. We spent it with our good friends the Grubers. The food was wonderful, the company even better. This is Victor with his new friends Harlen and Alex and Max and Allison.

Then the snow came! Boy was Victor happy. He goes out and plays almost every night. He got a Spiderman hat with matchin gloves. He also wears his boots to school everyday.

This is at Jordan Landing during a great snow storm. This all fell in 2 hrs.
Victor has been getting the 12 days of Christmas from his "Secret Elf" so we I will post pics later of some of his gifts. We leave for Mexico on Saturday night and are looking forward to spending time with Grandma and Pappa.

Ear surgery yet again

So here is how my day went - the day before Turkey Day:

I woke up at 5am so that I could wake up and get my butt out of the house by 5:30 to get to the hospital by 6am. I also had to start the car to get it warm because it was 26 this morning. We got to the hospital and my son was just too funny. He had on his pj's and "car" slippers and the nurses just started to fawn all over him. Then, about 6:50, they gave him his happy meds. let me tell you that I haven't laughed that hard in a while. It hit him and he started slurring his speech, he couldn't keep any part of his body straight. Finally at 7:15 they took us back to meet with the anesthesist - let me just add that they "wheeled" him down the hallway in a wagon - he thought he was the bomb! I met with the doctors and what not and then went to the waiting room while Victor and his "puppy" went in for surgery. Apparently his stuffed puppy had tubes put in today too. Then they called me to the recovery room about 15 minutes later and he was crying. I held him and within 60 seconds he started asking for his "wagon". He became wide awake and so they took us to another room so they could monitor him for about an hour. Well, he was looking at his chart and decided that he needed to add some stuff and asked for a pen - they brought him his own chart, pen and blank paper. He then started asking me what was wrong and how I felt sick. As they checked all his vitals 3 times, he did it almost by him self each time. He then wanted to walk out of the hospital which was funny because he was still a little loopy. I had to catch him a few times. He then made me take him to Starbucks (yes, my 3 yr old makes me do things when he is in pain) to get him a chocolate milk with whip cream and red sprinkles. The lady at Starbucks is usually there when we go, so she made him a very special drink and gave him a penguin cookie. By the time I dropped him off at my friends to watch him, he was a normal kid except for the bloody/pussy mess draining from his ear. I tell ya, that kid will be the death of me. So now he wants me to buy him cool dr. clothes.

HALLOWEEN

Last night was a big hit! Victor made it two blocks trick or treating and got a ton of candy. Here are some great pictures of him yesterday.

Update on our Life

Things are going well for us. We will be moving into our new place on the 1st of November and are really excited about it. This weekend my sister and mom are coming up here and my mom will be watching Victor while Taryna and I scrap the weekend away. The mountains are beautiful with all the great colors. I am hoping to take and post some pictures soon.

Here are some other photos for you to enjoy:

This is Victor outside one of our hotels on our drive across the country. He really like this little cabin they had. He tried really hard to get inside, but no such luck.

My little guy and me just after we got to Utah. He loves to have his picture taken and play with the camera.

Victor is sick yet again!

Yesterday Victor and I spent a good hour at the doctor's office. His oxygen level is on the safe side but still low so he is to continue his daily asthma meds. He was also given an oral steroid to help knock out his cough so we are hoping it is going to work. He also somehow got a bacterial infection on the back of his right ear so is taking meds for that as well as a cream that gets put on it a few times a day. He is at that age too where he spits the medicine back at me because it tastes so yucky. I don't blame him really because the white Augmentin is just gross! He is really excited for Halloween and loves to look at all the "spooky (with fingers in the air as it is said)" stuff at all the stores.

We are hoping to head up to the mountains to check out the beautiful leaves before they disappear this weekend.

I will post some pictures later on what I did. I don't have any of my stuff so I have been scrapbooking for a dear friend.

Time Flys

It has been almost a year since my last post, but starting a new life, I am going to try and post more often. Brandon, Victor and I made it thru the holidays last year and in February moved to Virginia Beach, VA. I left VA after a few months of craziness to come back to Utah with Victor. We are both doing well out here even though we miss Brandon. I am working as a bookkeeper and LOVE my job! Victor is enjoying school (daycare) a lot and really likes to be with other kids. We are staying with a wonderful family right now while we look for a place to stay.

We are looking forward to Halloween as Victor wants to be Captain Jack Sparrow and no one else.

I will post some pictures later on next week. I am going to the scrapbook expo in Sandy tonight and all day tomorrow and am so excited.

Have a good weekend!!
